Tickets have now gone on sale for one of the most anticipated events in the Cheltenham calendar – The Cheltenham Literature Festival.
The festival dates back to it’s beginnings in 1949, making it one of the oldest literary events in the world. It showcases an array of high profile speakers, all within the beautiful setting of historic Cheltenham. Over 600 writers, actors, politicians, poets and other well-known literary champions come together to discuss and celebrate the joys of the written word.
Within the festival, there’s the opportunity to explore nearly 500 debates, interviews and a variety of different workshops, so it’s well advised to get hold of a programme early on and decide on what you’re going to do and see in advance. The festival caters for all ages of literacy fans, as there’s also Book It! which is a festival, within the festival itself, specifically created for families and young readers.
The Cheltenham Literature Festival is on from the 5th to the 14th of October 2018. To find out more information about the line-up and plan your day, visit https://www.cheltenhamfestivals.com/literature/
